Dog Show

Last year the Hook Norton Veterinary Dog Show was a huge success with over a hundred dogs competing in six classes. The overall show champion was Captain Biggles, a lovable Tibetan Terrier owned and shown by the popular local Parish Councillor Sarah Billins.

We are pleased to announce that the Hook Norton Veterinary Group have once again sponsored the dog show. This is a fun-filled part of the Community Fete which takes place in the Hook Norton Vets Arena. Regrettably, under UK law, any dogs with docked tails, cropped ears or other mutilations, or exempt breeds, will not be eligible.

There will be the following six classes.  Please enter your dog using the form at the bottom of this page. Judging will be Mrs Marlene Dietrich and Mrs Susan Hamillton-Smith, both from Cape Town, South Africa and noted cynophiles. Rosettes will be presented to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each class with a Gold Rosette for the Over All Show Champion.  All child handlers will receive sweets.
