Classic Car Show

Last year we had the last Jaguar e-type convertible assembled, kindly provided by the Jaguar Heritage Trust. This year we are hoping the E-type will be returning or a similarly prestigious car.

Also, a warm welcome is waiting for you if you bring your pre-1990 car, commercial vehicle, agricultural tractor or motor-cycle to Long Compton.

Entry is free to all vehicles and owners.  This year we will have prizes for the following categories with judging by Dr Bruce Dietrich from Cape Town, a well-known and respected car enthusiast in South Africa

  • Best pre-1939
  • Best post-1945
  • Best presented
  • Best Work in Progress

The vehicles will be displayed within the showground situated behind the Village Hall which is situated on the main A3400 road and adjacent to the Red Lion pub at CV36 5JS.

Arrival on the day is requested between 12noon and 1pm, to minimise vehicle movement before the gates open at 1pm. Please inform a show marshall if you need to move your vehicle during the show, to comply with safety requirements.  Also, please ensure you have the correct insurance cover.
